PreludeOnline.co.uk launches new Blog

Today I have decided to launch a blog to work along side my very popular Honda Prelude VTEC web site. So here it is, my new blog. This will allow visitors who have found the content on my web site useful to leave posts in response to articles I post on here from time to time.

I have loads of ideas for articles to post on here, so watch this space.

Thanks
Tim S.

  1. Hi Tim, I 0wn a 1995 2.2 vtec have had it for over 14 years. Have now decided to change a few things on it. Struggling to get the right alloys for this vehicle. more the offset than anything else. The wheels i have choosen are 17 inch diamond raiders with an offset of 35, will this be a problem if the car is lowered, could you tell me by how much i should lower it by so i still have a comfortable ride. your help would be most appreciated.

  2. Hi,

You should not lower the car by any more than 40mm for a street driven car. Any lower and speed bumps and driveways are impossible.

Wheel offset. You need to be around 40 for 17" wheels because they will be wider then the stock 5.5". Any more and you will rub on steering lock.

Hope this helps...anything else just ask.
